R.E.G.C. Sir Knight Richard F. Muth’s motto for this Templar Year is the first verse of Psalm 115 and appears on our Grand Standard as this text from the Vulgate (where it is Psalm 113):
Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam
Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but to your Name give glory

This reminds us that it is not about me or you, or even us as a Grand Commandery, but about Him under whose banner we have enlisted the great Captain of our salvation, the King of kings and Lord of lords, Christ Jesus. Ultimately, all that we do should be for His honor and glory. In this new Templar year, do all that you do for the Glory of God.
